Ribbon theory

Ribbon theory is a strand of mathematics within topology that has seen particularly application as regards DNA.[1]

Concepts

Work by Călugăreanu, White and Brock Fuller led to the Călugăreanu–White–Fuller theorem that Link = Writhe + Twist.[2]
